      <image:title>Home - What makes us different?</image:title>
<image:caption>Traditional psychiatry has largely ignored the organ in our body most responsible for psychiatric symptoms – the brain. Our approach is to use the latest research in the neuroscience behind psychiatric conditions to more completely understand you, and which treatments are most likely to be effective.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - Meet the Founder</image:title>
<image:caption>Hi! I’m Dr. Josh Eloge and I’m glad you are here. After working for years as a counselor, my career was transformed when I worked with a psychiatrist who got to know our shared patients beyond just which medications need to be refilled – he got to know them as individuals. I knew then that I wanted to go back to medical school so I could do the same for my patients.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Dr. Eloge</image:title>
<image:caption>Josh Eloge, MD Dr. Eloge (pronounced E-low – silent “g”- he/him) has developed an expertise in clinical neuroscience and psychopharmacology, while integrating psychodynamic and acceptance and commitment therapy into his work with patients. He believes that psychiatric treatment must be individualized to each patient. Dr. Eloge has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Biological Psychiatry, Journal of Affective Disorders, and the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry as well as had work presented at national meetings including the American Neuropsychiatry Association Annual Meeting and the American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting. His scholarly activities as well as clinical work have been recognized by being named a National Neuroscience Curriculum Initiative Scholar 2019-2020, Illinois Psychiatric Society Resident of the Year 2019-2020, Illinois Psychiatric Society Outstanding Achievement in Advocacy Award 2023, and Rush University Medical Center Department of Psychiatry Award for Outstanding Teaching and Mentorship 2023-2024. In addition to his work in Connected Neuroscience, he is also the Associate Director of the Woman’s Board Depression Treatment Research Center and Assistant Professor at Rush University Medical Center, conducting clinical trials evaluating psychedelic compounds and neuromodulation techniques for the treatment of a wide range of psychiatric disorders. His ongoing scholarly work includes being a principal investigator and sub-investigator on a number of clinical trials, writing review articles translating cutting-edge neuroscience topics for clinical psychiatrists, and investigating educational methods for teaching neuroscience to psychiatry residents. In addition, Dr. Eloge has been featured on several local and national media outlets for his expertise on depression. By integrating clinical neuroscience into his psychiatric practice, Dr. Eloge focuses on explaining to patients the various aspects of brain function in psychiatric disorders and how different individualized treatments can help restore balance in a patient’s life. When he’s not with patients, he is spending his time with his wife, trying new restaurants, or at the zoo with his twin daughters.</image:caption>
